Antonia Lofaso
Chef Antonia Lofaso's culinary creations are an invitation to explore the depths of her inner world. Her interest in food when she moved from suburban Long Island to the diverse cultural landscape that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli, carnitas and various other cuisines can be found within a menu. This is a constantly shifting taste. With every dish she serves she draws a picture that is distinct and speaks to nostalgia for the historical. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in 2013 and was immediately very well received. Lofaso's interpretation of traditional Italian is hailed as one of the most compelling restaurants for Italian food in Los Angeles. The restaurant serves delicious and consistent food at Scopa which is a favorite of the neighborhood. The patrons call it authentic and satiating. Lofaso was an apprentice of culinary experts, absorbing their techniques and taking risks. She never hesitated to do so to follow her instincts. She quickly climbed the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and went on to make a difference in the kitchens of famous chefs located in Los Angeles while working closely with many high-profile celebrities. Lofaso worked with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar, a new bar within Studio City. Lofaso had found home at Black Market. Lofaso's creative freedom could be enhanced through this collaboration. Black Market does not have a single direction, that's the intention. You might start with Dill chips and then Shishitos peppers. Then comes an Korean wings and then the meatballs course. Antonia anchors the bold range of flavors. Through her entire career, Lofaso has measured her achievements with her exceptional ability to comprehend her audience while staying authentic to her personality. Her memorable appearances on Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her talents outside of the cooking area. It also told the story of her challenges when she was a student in her school, the French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea and her son Xea. Lofaso says that the inspiration to her achievement comes from the kitchen. That's how she keeps a pulse on the current happenings. Through the Chefletics brand, she's altering the appearance of her industry by re-designing clothing for chefs that is stylish and also serves a practicality. Lofaso is a firm believer that adhering to the way you see yourself is crucial. To achieve her goal, she founded Antonia Lofaso Catering. It allows customers to enjoy an unrivalled service.
