Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March, 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant, and Joseph William Stone 2nd, a former tool and die operator and factory worker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone was considered to be academically gifted when she started the second grades at five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. Stone graduated in 1975. She also competed for the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone as well as her aunt relocated to New Jersey to New Jersey to begin a modeling career in the year 1977. They signed up for an agency called the Ford Modeling Agency after a few months. After spending a year in Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe in the modeling industry, and decided to venture to acting. At 20, she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories" with mixed receptions.
