Carey who's 5'10" tall, was once a leading American models for fashion. Top designers including Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren liked her. Her father is a renowned geologist who was voted Scientist Of The Year 1979, at the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Carey traveled all over due to her father's work. In her college years, she began to model in a part-time capacity and caught the eye from Ford model Agency representatives in New York. Following her move to France and briefly resided at Paris, Bordeaux and New York and then New York, she made the decision to go back to New York and continue her studies. In the next few months, Vogue, Glamour and various other magazines featured her on their covers. When she was modeling and continued to pursue her studies at a full-time level for a literary major at New York University. After a while she began to develop an interest in acting. She was a student at Neighborhood Playhouse New York. In 1986 she had her first role in acting as a small part in Club Paradise, with Robin Williams. In her spare time she likes to ski or windsurfing. She also enjoys climbing mountains as well as whitewater kayaking.
