Kristen Anne Bell (born July 18th, 1980)[1] is an American actress and singer from the United States. She began her acting career at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York. At the time she performed in performances on stage. The musical comedy The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was her Broadway debut. The Crucible revival came out in the year following. In 2004, she starred in the action-thriller Spartan (2004). She was also praised for her performance as Becky Thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In the next year she appeared on Broadway in a revival of The Crucible. The character that she was playing in the 2014 film was recast and recast for the 2019. During her time on Veronica Mars, Bell starred in the role of Mary Lane in the musical film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005) which was reprising the role she had previously played in the New York musical of the identical name.Bell played Elle Bishop in the superhero drama series Heroes from 2007 to the year 2008. Bell played the role of Narrator of the title for the Teen Drama series Gossip Girl. The 2021 sequel will have her reprising the role. Bell was also the Showtime comedian House of Lies' lead actress, Jeannie van de Hooven. Bell played Eleanor Shellstrop, the leading part of the critically-acclaimed NBC comedy series The Good Place. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Bell played the character of Eleanor Shellstrop on the streaming series The Woman in the Home Across the Street From the Girl in the Window.
